Breakfast of Champions

Last night was good.

I didn’t hike, so now I feel bad about all those Hershey Kisses I ate! (Not THAT bad though, lets be honest.)

I was able to relax after a stressful day of work though, which is always a good thing. Spent a lot of time with my Fiance, who is very dear to my heart. Sometimes, since I work full time as a financial analyst, and free lance as a business manager and bookkeeper, I don’t get to spend the quality time with him that I would love.

Part of this blogging adventure will display my efforts to strike a perfect work/Life balance also.

We hung out, went and picked up some groceries (all junk…bummer) and watched tv.

I stayed up late, as I’ve been cramming all of the Nashville I can watch on Netflix lately, I got to sleep around 1:30 AM which is very late for me. I had a sure-fire plan to get up and kick ass:

I set my alarm on my phone to play “Fancy” by Iggy Azalia to wake me up.

It slightly worked. I was in a good mood when I woke up, but I still snoozed about an hour and 15 minutes later than I would’ve liked.

I then got up, and drove like hell to make it to work on time.

My balanced breakfast:

A can of diet coke, 2 Oreo Cookies (They’re reduced fat though, so no worries K?) and a shit ton of Hershey Kisses. (They’re gone now…Thank goodness, I can safely look in my desk without thinking I need to consume all of the snacks.

I’m no dummie, I know this is terrible for me.

I consumed 497 Calories, and I am on a restricted calorie diet to try to aid with my weight loss so that doesn’t help anyone. I’m over my daily Carbs, Fat and Sugars.

I’m going to spend my lunch break walking around trying to remedy the situation a little bit anyway.

Until Later.
